The Alchemy Messages window
The Messages window displays messages that are produced by
Alchemy when you perform various operations such as adding an HTML file to your
project. If Alchemy detects possible errors in the HTML code, it logs them
to the Messages window, where you can load the HTML file into your web editor and
go directly to the offending line by double-clicking on an error message.
In addition to error messages, Alchemy produces informational messages that can be
used to troubleshoot complicated transactions like FTP and Telnet log-ins, as well
as debugging messages that can be used by the Alchemy technical support staff to
track down specific problems. You can use the View pulldown
menu on the Messages window menu bar to select the types of messages you want to
display.
